CLEVELAND, Ohio – August 27, 2009 – GCA Services Group, Inc., a leading national provider of quality facility services with headquarters in downtown Cleveland, announced today the following executive appointments:
GCA Corporate
Bob Gerber has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Gerber, who has over 30 years of experience as a senior financial officer in a variety of industries, joined GCA in 2007 and most recently served as Vice President of Finance for the company. Gerber will continue to report to Bob Norton, Chairman, CEO, and President of GCA.
Walt Griffin has been promoted to Vice President and Chief Information Officer, reporting to Gerber. Griffin has over 35 years of experience in information technology and also joined GCA in 2007. In his previous role, Griffin was Corporate Director of Information Technology.
Sally Previte has been appointed Treasurer, also reporting to Gerber. Previte holds over 20 years of financial management experience in the retail and insurance industries and joined GCA in 2008.
"Bob Gerber, Walt Griffin, and Sally Previte are proven leaders with demonstrated expertise. They have already made significant contributions to GCA and are key members of our corporate management team," Norton said. 'We wish them continued success in their new roles."
GCA Commercial Midwest Region
Pat Norris has been named President of GCA's Commercial Midwest Region, based in Cleveland. He will report directly to Norton. Norris brings over 25 years of executive experience in sales and marketing, with deep expertise acquiring and managing high growth businesses.
Norris is the former President and owner of Norris Auto Mall, where he operated five auto dealerships and two power sports dealerships for 14 years.
"We have aggressive goals for growth in our Commercial Midwest Region, and we needed someone with the skills to take advantage of the region's many opportunities and to proactively create new opportunities for our business," said Norton.
